Mass death sentences in Egypt

I’m not a big fan of Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood but it can’t be right to sentence 529 of them to death in absentia with 683 more in the pipeline. This is the sort of thing that will stoke up resentment for generations. Has HMG spoken up? It was on Al Jazeera but not even mentioned on the BBC bulletin I watched. http://www.aljazeera.com/news/middleeast/2014/03/20143258145216875.html
