Standing in the European Election.

I plan to stand in the European Election in May in the West Midlands constituency for the Common Good party which I founded.

All the other parties are anti-European or their pro-European stance is based on an accountant type calculation that we stand to gain more money by being in than being out. I think making a peaceful Europe after generations of suffering is a good thing to do and we should be in on it and not constantly whingeing and threatening.

Also I am recommending important things about life in Britain that no major party is prepared to say or do. I think they matter to the country and someone ought to be standing for them. Since I don’t see anyone else doing so I think I must.

1. Stop banks harming Britain by creating our money as debt.
2. Stop the NHS going commercial which it’s rapidly doing.
3. Nationalise the railway – fares down, standards up.
4. No University fees. We need educated workers.
5. Elected Regional Government to breathe life into the region.
6. Nationalise water, gas and electricity and their production.
7. China: trade with them but stand up for human rights there.
