Gay Marriage

The Bill for Gay Marriage was voted through the Commons tonight at its second reading 400 to 175 although with many Conservatives voting against it.
I can’t agree with gay marriage since the Bible seems to says clearly that same sex is not acceptable to God and I don’t want to be found having endorsed something that God opposes because that is a bad position to be in.

Here is the reference Leviticus 18:22

“Detestable” as used here is a strong term only used in the Old Testament concerning this practice and idolatry. Jesus said that he had not come to remove any jot or tittle of the law (ie the least detail). He opened a new way to God by dying as a sacrifice in our place for our sins but he wasn’t thereby going soft on what is right and what is wrong. I just think this is a trendy mistake and yielding to fashion and will be bad for society and leave a lot of people very confused.
I am a long way from being in power but if I where in power I would repeal this law (I realise it isn’t a law yet). I don’t hate gay people. I love them and so does God, but I disagree with this proposed law. Dick Rodgers
